Quality Inn Grand Junction near University

This is a near perfect model for what a budget hotel should be. Friendly staff, clean rooms and hallways, comfortable beds, and great breakfast at an affordable rate. There’s no fancy chandeliers, fireplaces and the vending machines are outdated. The stuff that matters,however, is very well executed.

No problems, clean, up to date rooms. Hallways are a little outdated which gives a dark vibe. Food was good, breakfast was delicious! House keeping was friendly and I could tell they actually do their jobs. Best hotel for the value! Will be staying here again and I do recommend.

Nice clean rooms. Beds are comfortable. Pretty good water pressure in the sink and shower but not so much with the toilet. The elevator could definitely use some fixing. Its very shaky and makes a weird noise.

We had a really good experience. This was the only place with over four star Google review, so we gave them a shot. It's not a fancy place, but the staff was nice and room was clean, if a bit expensive. But what made it worth it was the breakfast. Man, not your typical hotel breakfast, this was amazing. Lots of options all fresh cooked by people you can see cooking just behind the counter! All in a cozy restaurant feeling space. Worth it just for the breakfast frankly. All in all a good experience. I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this hotel. They have complimentary buffet-style breakfast. My room was very neat and had enough supplies to last me for the days I stayed there. Their common places like the hallways were also very neat with no unpleasant odor. They have coin-operated washer and dryer and vending machines for detergents, snacks and drinks too. Their staff members were pleasant as well. I love the location: it is off the I-70 and on a bus route. There are couple of fast food places close to it including Subways, Tacobell and Freddie’s. Down the Horizon road is a Safeway store. I would say the value is worth more the price. I definitely recommend this motel.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. My only gripe was that the shower lotion was mounted above the sink, which is not in the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, with several hot options including hash browns, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and biscuits & gravy.

BY FAR the best Quality Inn I've ever stayed in. Best breakfast. Real vending machines. Solid wifi. No weirdly sticky floors or cratered beds. And the 1 Bedroom Suite we stayed in was immaculate. The employees obviously care and the building is well maintained. Only two minor quibbles: The HVAC units make it difficult to maintain a consistent temperature. And the bathroom only had an air filter not an exhaust fan.

Rates were great with Hotels.com ($70/nt). Sausage @ breakfast was terrible, but canadian bacon we had one morning was delicious. Walls thin, could hear everything from neighbors. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. Complimentary games were a nice touch. Pool was unavailable for all 5 nights due to cleaning.
